With the funding from Purple Hearts Wishes Charity made it possible for Andrew, myself, Millie and Mollie a lovely Spa break near Darlington. Headlam Hall a lovely hotel set in beautiful grounds with delicious food.

With some sightseeing Durham Cathedral and the castle. As you can see from the photos how stunning and elegant the Cathedral is.

A visit to Beamish “The Living Museum of the North” 1900’s and 1950’s towns, a farm, chapel and colliery and much more however we were limited as Millie and Mollie came along.
Overall a very interesting and enjoyable day out.

Admission is £35.00 for the year and you can visit as many time as you want and if you are a carer you get in free.
